I just remembered - I was playing golf on thursday evening and all the birds were trying out their new ring tones!
One bird would go thru so many different tunes that is was like trying out all the ring tones on a new mobile phone! I just had to laugh to myself - all around the course the birds were doing the same thing!

best ones are blackbirds who can mimic telephone rings wonderfully!
We've got one that mimics a car alarm and another that whistles just like colins dad, very repetitive it drives me mad.
You all have amazing birds! Ours generally just tweet and coo - except for the ravens which make a sound like hollow wooden pipes being knocked together.
My ring tone is set so it's just like a bird, so if it rings when I'm playing golf, no-one knows, not that i've time to play at he mo
LOL - just imagine that going off in the middle of your backswing though!
Great to catch up - although it's taken me ages 'cos (like me) you begin with "W"!!! I get sooooo distracted by the different birdsong here - wish I could identify more, though, like my mum, who is brilliant at it.xx
